We have received over 1000 registration in the database whereby different civil society organisations have expressed interest to participate in the C20 South Africa processes. These organisations are in South Africa, the rest of Africa and from international organisations. This is an overwhelming response that demonstrate readiness and commitment to shape the global agenda by civil society actors. We thank you very kindly for your interest to voluntarily contribute and serve the people of the world.

In the processes that we have engaged on previously, expression of interest was made for facilitators of the Health Working Group. In this regard, the C20 South Africa leadership has unanimously appointed the following organisations and individuals to lead the Equitable Health for All Working:

  • Nombasa Gxuluwe from WACI Health: Facilitator
    • Nombasa through WACI Health represents the voice of organisations in the Africa Diaspora
  • Mluleki Zazini from National Association of People Living with HIV and AIDS (NAPWA) & SANAC Civil Society Forum (SANAC CSF): Co-Facilitator
    • Mluleki through NAPWA & SANAC CSF represents the voice of South African organisations
  • Ngaatendwa Murombedzi from AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF): Co-Facilitator
    • Ngaatendwa from AHF represents the voice of global organisations

To ensure that all the remining 14 Working Groups also have Facilitators & joint Co-Facilitators (except the Equitable Health for All Working Group which already has leadership), guided by the principle of inclusion and broad representation, we are looking to hear from individuals representing organisations from South Africa, Africa Diaspora and globally interested to serve to express their interest(s). To this end, please complete the link below so that we can complete this process.

Deadline to submit your expression of interest either as a facilitator, joint co-facilitators and contributor to the Working Grou is Wednesday, 12 February 2025 via the link below:
